Arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After completing the formalities of Immigration and Customs you will be met by Golden Holidays English Speaking Driver cum Guide at the arrival longue. Disembark the airport terminal and proceed to Masai Mara National Reserve with packed lunch. Enroute the game drive and check into the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge [PL. D]
Game drive before breakfast After breakfast proceed for the visit to Hippo Pool enrouting the game drive viewing and exploration in this part of the Northern Serengeti Ecosystem where the great wildebeest migration takes place. Months before the actual migration the herds ‘assemble’ in Serengeti in readiness for the crossing into Masai Mara. The plain is literally covered with these animals. Grunts and other animal sounds are heard, and territorial fights are commonplace. The migration, now declared the Seventh Wonder of the World takes place from end June to beginning September. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon proceed for game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast from the lodge. Depart for Lake Elmenteita. Check into the camp. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the camp. Elmenteita is derived from the Maasai word muteita, meaning "dust place", a reference to the dryness and dustyness of the area, especially between January and March. The town of Gilgil is near the lake. In the south-to-north sequence of Rift Valley lakes, Elmenteita is between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast depart for Aberdare National Park. Check into the lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Afternoon and evening view the game from the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. Aberdare National Park, this iconic tree-top lodge has viewing decks and balconies that overlook a floodlit waterhole and salt lick to which many animals are attracted by day and night. Game drives are taken in the surrounding park which contains a wide variety of wildlife for which Kenya is famous. As part of the Aberdare Mountain Range, the Aberdare National Park offers beautiful scenery with towering peaks which stand up to 3,930m and deep ravines that cut through the rainforest. The area is ideal for game-viewing with many species evident including elephant, buffalo, Black Rhino, leopard, lion, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey and sykes monkey. At higher levels Eland and serval serval cats can also be found.
After breakfast depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Check into the tent. Lunch at the tent. Afternoon proceed for game drive. Return to the tent for dinner and overnight stay. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the closest place from Nairobi to see “The Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo). It is also the Largest Black Rhino Sanctuary in East Africa, boasting a population of 78 black rhino! Its other wildlife includes an exciting catalogue of; white rhino, giraffe, zebra, eland, oryx, waterbuck, Grant’s gazelle, Thompson’s gazelle, cheetah, silver-backed jackal, hartebeest and baboon. The conservancy also boasts several hundred bird species. Ol Pejeta Conservancy has the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary – Established in cooperation with the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Jane Goodall Institute for Conservation Projects for Chimpanzees Throughout the World, the 1 km sq sanctuary is a non-profit-making venture and the only sanctuary of its kind in Kenya. A gentle and charming diversion for children and adults alike, it offers visitors the unique opportunity of taking a boat ride on the Ewaso Nyiro River, which flows through the centre of the sanctuary where 26 orphaned chimps enjoy the peace and harmony of their natural environment.
After breakfast depart for Amboseli National Park with packed. Enroute the short game drive. Check into the lodge or camp. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species.
After breakfast proceed for full day game drive with picnic lunch. Return to the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
